Nice restaurant in Ottsville, PA Upper Bucks County It was odd that it didn't open until 5, but worked out ok.

We had to ask for bread, but it was very good. You can order half portions of some things, like the Penne with Shrimp, but even that was a bit too much, though what they served was very good. The pork chops with mustard sauce were good, but the sauce was nothing to write home about. Filet Mignon was delicious, but can't really go wrong with that.
Downside was, the Guinness was served in a bottle. Baked potato was ordered, but was served potatoes au gratin.
Ambience is nice. Overall nice experience. We would go back but not real soon and would recommend, but not our top choice.

This place goes all the way back to 1862. This place is a bit more fine dining than tavern or pub food. It’s a charming stone inn decorated with paintings of Bucks County countryside. There are two dining rooms and a small bar area. This is a nice place for a family meal or a special dinner.
I had the New England Clam Chowder and Shrimp and Crab Cakes upon recommendation of commenter on this page. My wife had the Cranberry and Walnut Salad and Broiled Scallops in a cream sauce. Both the entrees were hearty and delicious large portions. The house wines were only $8 each. With 3 glasses of wine for me and 2 for my wife, the total was $110 plus tip
