We visited this restaurant in October last year when we went to look at the Halloween decorations on Union Street (which we also highly recommend). We really liked it then, so thought we should go back to review it. We were not disappointed.

We found a parking spot right outside. We were greeted right away by a happy hostess and waitress. We ate outside at very nice patio. It was surrounded by Sycamore trees and very pretty. We all gave the ambience a 5, but I have heard from others that the retractable roof they have (which seemed like such a good idea) is metal and when it closes and rains it's hard to hear anyone. But that didn't affect us. We still give it a 5.
We received a basket of warm rolls and crackers. All very good.
For appetizers, Sue and Bill split the Sausage stuffed mushrooms. They enjoyed it but not was much as the calamari appetizer that John ordered. Bill said he is definitely having John's calamari next time we go (we quickly let him know John ate all his calamari, so he is going to have to order his own and it would have been a bit old anyway!! 😁) . I split an arugula salad with John. It was very good. Had oranges, almonds and feta and a nice vinaigrette.
Bill and I repeated our dinner from our October visit, the Filet Mignon Sandwich. John ordered it too. It consisted of filet, sautéed onion, melted Gruyere, baby arugula, creamy horseradish, seeded baguette and was delicious - again. It had a side of fries. Sue enjoyed Bill's. Sue ordered the Ahi Tuna tacos, which we think she had before too. She had enough to take some home for another meal.
We all thought the service was great. Our waitress was very pleasant and just attentive enough. All in all a nice experience, and will definitely be back.
PROS: Great service, multiple interesting things on the menu, close by, outdoor dining, good bread and crackers.
CONS: Seemed a bit pricey for a casual steakhouse. But we are finding prices up everywhere.
